Samsung Note 2

EmooOoOoOoOooo!~! Just realized the telcos are not selling them without contracts and I cant recontract mine because it has been less than 1 year. Samsung shops, Courts are currently out of stock though can pre-order at R.P S$998. Will need a few weeks. I tried to find online for local shops but the 2 I found also out of stock. Except export set which is going at S$870+. Better dont take the risk. Haiz So sad.......I want it nowwwwww!!!!!! =(

Almost feel like screaming, "Whoever can get me Samsung Note 2 in white now, I'll marrrrrryyyyyy himmmmm!" Then suddenly realized, "Eh, I'm already married." Wahahahahaha~! Okie just for laughs. =P Dearie is very sweet though, he wanna get it for me as our anniversary present but I'm considering as we kinda stopped giving each other anniversary presents in recent years because we really dont feel the need. We always get what we want as and when we like and we usually dont lack anything during the anniversary date. Just so this year for me. Hee. And if he gets me an anniversary present this year, it means I will also need to get him one. Which is headache la...........dont know what to buy!! Then might as well I buy my own stuff la since he dont really need anything now. =P I'll see what I can buy him then see how la..... another Mont Blanc pen? But he already has 3! ZzzZzz. Wallet....belt....? Hmm..............

Anyway, I should be trading in my old iPhone 3GS and iPhone4, both 16GB, so I guess I just need to top up S$500+ if I want to. Which might be better la because everytime dearie buys me stuff, he will set all the wagging tongues of those kpo people, as if it's their business!! Super irritating manz!! As if hubby pampers wife got problem like that. I also buy him stuff okie!! From branded shirts to pants to ties to cufflinks to belt to wallet to pens to perfumes also got okie!! Just short of buying him briefcases because those costs over S$5K and I ask him to buy himself. =PPPPP Naturally he'll spend more on me because he earns more what. Super common sense. I did "top up" and "value add" with "care and concern", which he seldom give me. =P

These green-eyed devils, only see the things he bought me and never see the things I bought him. Know nuts and nothing better to do. Hope their tongues rot and can never talk!!! Wahahahahaha!!

Samsung Note 2, 你逃不出我的手掌心的!!!! Muahahahaha!!!

我爱你,别倒....

Our.......*ponders*....4th anniversary is coming. Omg! Has is been so long?? How did I did it??!! Just kidding my dear, hee, you know I love you till the sea dries up and the mountains become nua nua(海枯石烂). =D Sooooo my little head was cracking with ideas on where to have a nice dinner. I can never trust dearie with his choice again because the last Les Amis experience sucks big time. He thought prestigious and atas restaurants are confirm good, which is so not true.

Actually I don't know what's up lately but all my favorite restaurants closed down at the same time. I'm actually not very surprised that they closed down....erm in a way....but rather why all around the same time.... Dearie always remarked the restaurants I like always close down...that's why he always tell me, "Dear, you don't love me too much ok? I scared I also toh." But I also don't understand why leh. I wrote excellent reviews for them at hungrygowhere leh!

That's why I was so terribly grouchy for the last 2 months. :(
All these restaurants/cafes are my favorites and they had closed down. *devastated*

MeatWorks at Ion, I missed their cod fish :(
Aerin at Raffles City, my fave prawn risotto, duck confit, profiteroles. :~(
Tokyo Deli Cafe at raffles city, my fave sautéed prawns, Pork patties, salads and longan tofu...
Cova cafe at Paragon....nice cakes, tarts and tea....

The Ship Restaurant didn't toh.....but just shifted from Shaw to Nex....phew...

And I just realized The French Kitchen also toh liao. :(

好人不长命,难道restaurants also??

Omg....hopefully Dozo, The Tastings Room and Tea Cosy don't toh! Please support them! Their food is awesome!! Although I hope we can try somewhere new for our upcoming anniversary. Please give suggestions if you have any. Prefer French or Italian food. Hee!!
Currently contemplating Gunthers(widely raved), Sky on 57(MBS) for the view (but weird menu), il lido(Oh we have a 1 for 1 voucher!). Of course, good food with a great view and nice ambiance definitely won't hurt!

Hit & Run, TAI CHI movie reviews

Hope this review didnt come too late.

Movie title: Hit And Run
Ratings: 2.7/5
Comments: I was interested to catch this as it was advertised as being from the same producers of "Wedding Crashers" which is a flick which I enjoy very much. But I had a hugeeee disappointment. There were times during the movie that I felt like leaving the theater. Arrgghhh! It was terrible, especially during the beginning. I have NEVER seen a show with so MUCH dialogue, not to mention super boring cum meaningless ones. However, what puzzled me very very much was that there were some scenes which were actually not bad; coupled with actions, abit of thrill here and there etc. It was as if there were 2 directors directing the show, 2 directors with TOTALLY different style. And surprise~~~ Indeed, there are 2 different directors directing this show!! *faints* It's a mix and match; (more)miss and hit...averaging the ratings.

Movie title: TAI CHI
Ratings: 4/5
Comments: I think Fung, the director has so much to thank towards Sammo, the action director, who was simply terrific! What's up with all the cartoony stunts...graphics etc? Still young ah? ZzzZzz Spoilt such a nice movie. I know Fung is trying to be funny...but...no need through this way what....it lowers the standard of a good movie and gives a juvenile feel which is extremely mismatching for the plot. It's quite a nice plot. Still looking forward to part 2....but can pleaseeeee stop all the cartoony stuff~

Always choose female doctors for female checkup

Anyway, while waiting for my ice-cream, I'll just have a quick review of my last female health screening at Raffles Hospital last week. Every 2 years, Great Eastern will provide me with a free female health checkup at a medical center of their choice because I purchased Pinklife, a female illness policy.

My 1st female checkup was 4 years ago at Camden Medical Center with a male doctor. I remembered I can choose between Camden and Gleneagles but only male doctors were available. Of which I called up Great Eastern and complain/feedback to them. Hello, if you know very well this is a female health check to ladies, it's only reasonable that you arrange female doctors! It's such a basic customer care. Thank god they took in the feedback and came out with the option of female doctors for the next checkup(2years ago) with which I transferred to my mum. Ya, the checkup is transferable.

As my female check up at Camden was my very first virgin experience, I thought it was supposedddd to be that unpleasant. The checkup includes breast examination, pelvic scan, Pap smear and physical examination Etc. Very basic. So I was kinda surprised that last week while making the appointment with Raffles hospital, I was required to fast for 8 hours. This year's free checkup includes more stuff like checking my blood, cholesterol etc, together with the original basic package.

To be fair, I'm pretty sure a male or female doctor does make a huge difference to the overall experience, as you'll certainly feel more at ease with a female doctor. But seriously there's more. After my female doctor(Raffles) examined my breast for lumps, then I realized how different it is as compared to my last experience with the male doctor at Camden. As I recalled the last unpleasant experience at Camden, awkwardness aside, he simply grabbed(sorry no other way to put it nicer) BOTH my precious at the SAME time with BOTH his hands and squeezeeeee. Machiam like squeezing orange juice. Argghhh! And I thought breast examination is supposed to be like that. But it's not! My female doctor from Raffles hospital, on the other hand, examined each breast carefully by pressing it with slight pressure with 3 fingers at a time to different points on the chest area to check for lumps. She even examined as far as near the under-arm, where actually our 副乳 are. Finally, she also checked the nipples. And I suddenly found the male doctor at Camden to be grotesquely unprofessional. As much as the Pap smear is still pretty uncomfortable, she is undoubtedly more gentle than the last rough one I had with the male doc at Camden.

The point of my post is, go for female doctors for female checkup. I might be biased just because my 1st(and last) experience with a male doctor was unpleasant. But seriously, I think females do a more meticulous and gentle job and are *ahem* certainly more professional, especially where female organs are in concern.

Please respect your wives

Waiting for dearie to finish his dinner now with annoyance. It's nothing to do with my darling. There's this stupid uncle at the neighbour table and he has been raping me with his eyes for the past 30minutes. I was like "ARGHHHH!!" There's a difference between admiring glances, staring or simply lecherous ogling!! Tmd qi si wo le!!! Wore my jacket and still it's the same. It's like so obvious, his head kept turning to a 45degrees towards me like every minute or so. And why can't he even respect his wife who is sitting opposite him??? If dearie is like that, seriously I will just leave. And if it wasn't for fear of making his wife(who has done nothing wrong) lose face, I really would have growled "他妈的!! 看够了没有!!"

Super duper irritated!!!! *roarrrrrrrrrr*

I'm Ok now, thank you :)

Been missing out alot. Sigh.......this has been a very bad year for me. Very very bad. 2nd hospitalization this year and the last was merely a week plus before only. Sigh........ Anyway, I stayed in Gleneagles for 2 and a half days but will be billed as 3 days as after 6pm(till 12pm the next day) will be considered another day . Which is....I just dont understand this logic by hospitals lah. But since I'm okie already by the evening, I just discharge myself. The doc kept wanting me to stay.

It was actually very bad the first night as the intense pain was torturous. On a scale of 1 to 10, I would rate it 8 to 9. So immediately I was given a jab to stop the pain. Bliss. But only for a few hours. =( When pain came back again around midnight, I really cant endure it and asked for another jab. This time round, it was stronger and finally I was able to sleep. Continuously, I had pain the 2nd day too but it was bearable, around 5 out of 10 so I didnt ask for any jab. Didnt want to be addicted to it. But I'm almost 100% sure I developed wrinkles on that very day because my forehead and face was so "shrivelled".

Cel came to see me on 2nd night and I'm so glad for her company. Our constant chatting took my mind off the pain. She's so sweet to tabao for me. Damn funny. I was saying I felt like dying when every meal is....porridge....kway teow soup.....you know I'm such a 重口味 kinda person and I was just....emo siah.

I was having this boring and bland kway teow soup when she said(what'sapp),
You want me to tabao something more "exciting" for you??

LOL. I almost jumped with glee.

"Yesssssss!" I said

"Anything you cant eat?" she asked

I said, "Er...nothing too oily or spicy. No potatoes or soya products."

"Oh Then I buy kway teow soup for you oki? Haha"

".........................................................................."

Noti girl.

Though of course I didnt want her to go especially out of the way. However she's so nice, as she's in Orchard, she went Paragon to tabao BakerzIn's Bacon and Ham Aglio Olio for me. =P Of course, less oily and non-spicy.

I was anxious to discharge so when the 2nd night(daytime pain, subsided by night time) passed by without pain, immediately I wish to discharge already that very next day. But I thought it's safer to just stay for half a day to monitor, so that pain dont come back. And also, I need to wait for dearie to finish his meeting then he can come fetch me.

To friends who really care, sending me messages and such, I'm really grateful. Because I didnt really...like whine dramatically. Ok lah I did whine alittle on FB, saying after I'm discharged, I must have a good meal! That's how they knew/guessed that I'm in hospital...again... Because I really felt miserable in the hospital. =( This time round, it's really bad because the pain was kinda persistent and not very bearable. But I didnt complain about my pain nor say much about why/how I'm hospitalized because I dont wish to be a whine baby.

For people who think that I like to go hospital even for minor health issues, just so I can claim the expenses, it's not true. It was so much pain that I had tears falling down my face all the time during the 1st night before I was given the jab. My doc had to wipe my tears. :~( Though again, I didnt really like to emphasize how miserable I was to warrant the need. God will know. And seriously if we can return the iPad which we picked up to it's rightful owner without any hesitation(the entry just before/below this), why do you think I wish to go all the way to the hospital, get myself poked with so many needles, so many jabs, do so many blood tests, go on drip, just to claim the expenses? I can jolly well take pills at home or see a GP nearby. I did considered that prior to admission but my pills dont work and the GPs at my area suck big time. Not competent at all and it was pretty late already, most clinics were closed. Until now, the place where they poked the needle for the drip(near the wrist) is still swollen and painful. =( I wonder why though.....

By the way, dearie so funny. He said Gleneagles should change name to GlenFino. Because all are Filipinos! Lol!! Only my doc is chinese(Singaporean). *faints* I felt as if I'm in Manila~ ZzzZz

I'm okie now already although I still need to be very careful with my diet. =) Thanks for all your concern. =)

还有人象我们这么诚实吗?:P

We were at a shopping center where dearie and me both parted to visit the loo when he found an iPad in the cubicle which he was shitting. Lol. Then he said, "Pass it to customer service?" And I said, "Dont be silly. This is Singapore, not Japan. The customer service people will just keep it for his/her/their own since they can easily dont record the lost&found."

I'm so sorry, I'm so blunt sometimes to my (poor)hubby but you know, he's like the very 单纯 sort and always think everyone is as kind and without bad intentions like him, which is so not true. I hate it and love it. Sigh....so I always have this "heroine" feel in me to always want to protect him.....a man of 1.8m towering over me...a chillipadi....haha....

Anyway, with a roll of eyes, I asked him to pick it up while I figured what can I do with it. And so he picked it up and strolled out of the toilet with a look that clearly looked as if he just murdered someone and looking all guilty for it. ZzzZzzz. Initially I thought we can slowly explore the iPad to see if I can find out who's the owner after we find a place to sit down. But dearie was so fidgety and so NOT at ease holding on to the iPad because he felt as if he did something very wrong.

"I just feel uneasy holding on to this..." He whined.

"Okok, pass it to me."

And soOooOoo, knowing how not-at-ease he felt, WITHOUT looking for a place to sit down, we merely stood by some corner and I began to explore the iPad. Dearie said, "Cant find any info....but he must be a kid lah, because when I on the iPad, it was in the middle of some game." Then I rolled my eyes, "So play games must be a kid lah, then arent you a kid for always playing games on your iPad/S2 too?" He blushed immediately. Haha. Anyway, if it's a kid, he/she will be with his parents and I'm sure the parent wont let the kid to go toilet with his iPad. They will definitely keep for the kid one mah. Anyway, I'm not one to assume and jump into conclusions though I really dont think he/she will be a kid.

So I began exploring the iPad. And while I'm exploring(with bright eyes), dearie was like hesitating and finally said...."Dear....it doesnt belong to us, we better dont see the things inside lah.... And then I told him, "If I dont explore the stuff inside, how to find out who's the owner? There must be some info in the iPad."

While speaking so, I gleefully discovered that the iPad has active email correspondences! Which means I can see the owner's email addresses and able to email himself. However, there was no WI-FI at the moment so I use my own iPhone to email the owner. Eventually he called few hours later and we passed it back to them at the same shopping center. =)

They were of course very appreciative and thankful! Especially the girlfriend. They are in their twenties. They even bought us fruit tarts from Yamazaki! I recognized the box/plastic bag right from the start. Initially we were pleasantly surprised and declined accepting it for the first few times. But after the 3rd time, then I was like...."Haha ok then thanks......hee..." I'm sorry, I simply cant resist cakes/tarts!! If it's money, we'll definitely decline.

We did exchange a few sentences. You know me lah, auntie mah. I was like....hee....asking them to be careful lor because I doubt they will be so lucky again the next time. And the gf was like nodding her head up and down, agreeing totally. Lol. The bf looked shy and quiet. Dearie and I were saying dont be so careless in future...lol...are we very lo-soh?

It feels great to be appreciated like this. =)

Unlike the girl whose wallet I picked up in Jcube's toilet, not only was she demanding that we immediately return her despite saying we're in a movie and will return her after that. I was rather annoyed by her attitude. She simply checked her stuff anxiously when we met, took it and left. So not appreciative. It was a super fat wallet which I founded in the toilet cubicle too, with more than few hundreds of cash, some useless cards and such. Saw a student pass and realized it belongs to an Indonesian exchange student. That explains the huge stack of bills huh. I was thinking it will be very troublesome to return since we had to drop it at her letter box(with her address on her pass) when I fortunately found a clinic card which had her handphone number. So same thing, I dropped her a message to call me.

Hmm.......personally I dont like people who picks up stuff and claim it as his/her own IF there are means of finding who's the owner. Like handphones...etc. I lost my handphone twice last time and nobody returns it. Though of course if it's money like $10 or $50, I will pick it up la. But if a bag of few hundred thousands then wont. Confirm something wrong. Lol. I really do wish Singaporeans can be more like the Japanese....but guess it's hard.....It's sad that while our country can be among the top for economy, education, medical etc but ethics and manners wise.........haiz...............

Movie: The bullet vanishes
Ratings: 4/5
Comments: So far we feel Nicholas Tse's movies have a minimum standard.
Very interesting plot, hard to find 1 nowadays.

Amy Cheong is so fcuked. Lol

NTUC fires Assistant Director for racist comments

By  | Yahoo! Newsroom – 3 hours ago

Seriously, she's an assistant director(at NTUC)?? *faints*
How can an assistant director do such a dumb thing, by giving such a illogical and racist comment??

And, what has ROM fees or holding a "real wedding" got to do with divorce???!!!

People divorce because of various reasons and it definitely doesnt mean if you hold a lavish wedding or spend a 100K to get ROM, then you'll be happily ever after!! People can stay together for a lifetime even if there's no marriage or even if ROM only costs a dollar. On the contrary, people who get proposed with a 1 carat ring or hold a grand wedding spending $50K or more can get divorced too. ROM fees shouldnt be a high amount because that will be an insult to the meaning of love and matrimony. Like, do you mean if I cant afford to ROM, then I'm not fit to love and bind someone to matrimony with all my unabiding love? And if a wealthy man supposedly can afford to ROM despite all his philandering ways outside, then he's fit to marry? That's so not true.

From her twitter, she doesnt look very repentant leh.

http://sg.news.yahoo.com/amy-cheong-s-statement-of-apology.html

As if her comments werent hurtful and cruel~ Other than dumb, I really dont know how to describe her~ She kept repeating Malay weddings, held at void decks etc, obviously, it's a racist comment mah! And void deck Malay weddings is a custom and we should respect each other's customs, just like how the other races respect how Chinese burn joss papers during the 7th month. Since when we're questioning how economical or lavish is one's customs? So having wakes at void decks or nearby the homes instead of having an elaborated funeral at some lavish country clubs means cheapo? *Rollz eyes* It's the Chinese custom to hold it at void decks as there's a saying if people passed on in hospitals or anywhere else other than their homes, they will prefer to "go home" first before "leaving".

I'm happy that she's sacked. =D It's sad that some people simply do not have the heart to feel for people, even people they dont know. Weddings are such joyous occasions!! Even time I pass by Malay weddings at void decks, no matter how bad my day is, the non-smiley-me will uncontrollably carry a smile, feeling happy for them and those happy guests will always smile back. =) I love a community like that. But sad to say, only the Malays/Caucasians/Filipinos are friendlier and more cheerful. Chinese are generally more reserved. That being said, even passing by wakes sometimes held at void decks, my spirits will just dropped a little, as I thought someone might have lost a husband....a father....a son....Sigh.....

If only people can spare a though for the others before having some frustrated or bad thoughts, or even worse, publishing offensive remarks that can spoil someone's day. Sometimes even when I'm frustrated with reno noises coming from nearby units, I will tell myself, "Hey! You made the same noises when you were renovating your house too!!" Then I will try to get out of my house or something. It's not as if people want to create those noises, I'm sure they wish their reno can finish the soonest so that they can move in too, isnt it?

She's such a disgrace to the Chinese and Singaporeans. Saw from Facebook she's banned from her gym. Lol. Oh man....do be careful if you're out of your home Miss Amy Cheong. =)

Taken 2

Ratings: 4.4/5
Comments: I realllyyyy reallllyyy dont think you or anyone need any urging to catch this flick!! If you haven catch the part 1 yet, please do so!! A comparison with the previous sequel is so expected and if you wanna ask me this question....Hmmmm.....I wouldnt think it's better but yet I dont think it's inferior too!! It's still pretty thrilling though I feel the action moves and plot can be improved. Anyway, half the time I'm having heart-shaped eyes on Liam, at the same time thinking what a b* the wife is for leaving him for another man. Lol. Okok...I merely meant the story, nothing personal on the actress. Definitely worth a catch in the cinemas! =D

I still cant believe Liam is 60 already!!! Those light blue eyes are so charming. Kekeke! I dont know why he suddenly looked so much taller in Taken 2, and I was gasping to dearie, "Is he like 2metres??!!!"
I'm close. He's 1.93. ZzzZzzz.

Yummy fried carrot cake/菜头粿)/Chai Tao Kway

It's has been a longggg time since I had such nice fried carrot cake(Chai Tao Kway)!!! I love it black so I told the boss "炒黑一点!" It came very black. Hahaha. Very fragrant with it's chai po. Naturally it's an oily dish, though reasonably so as there's not much oil left on the plate after I've finished. The fact that I'm able to finish the whole plate by myself and not have any jelat feeling after that(I sometimes do if the food is overly oily!) is pretty comforting. Of coz this dish shouldn't be consumed on a daily basis! Will love it if it has more egg though, too little egg.

The Cha Kway Teow(炒粿条) is merely so-so though.

Located at the kopitiam beside Buangkok mrt. Opens till late.

Katy Perry - Teenage Dream / Part of Me

The Assassins movie review

Ratings: 3.8/5
Comments: Chow is my all time favorite actor!! He's just so manly and full of charisma! Kekeke!
I love his performance in this movie, although wish that the plot can be more engaging with details and twist. Cao Cao is definitely more that the character in this movie, he's being belittered and it's such a waste of Chow's talent. The director seemed to place emphasis on all the wrong areas, like the intimate scenes(although most being cut away) which Cao Pi had were so extra. Zzzz. And all the emperor's singing were abit too much. It's worth a catch for Chow but don't expect to be blown away.

That being said, it calls to mind the very nice TVB series 洛神.

Hmm.......刘丹 starred as Cao Cao although he's not in the picture. In the series, Cao's talent was definitely being projected better. Although emphasis was placed in the love triangle between 甄宓(蔡少芬, Ada Choi), Cao Pi(陈豪),  Cao Zhi(马浚伟), the show was very engaging as the plot was fast-paced, full of surprises and every character is unique in his/her own way. Love love love! Go watch it at Pipi!! Although the introduction very cheesy...but just be a little patient okie! It's a very nice show which I will repeatedly watch time to time.

My Rilakkuma passport holder ❤

S$4.90 from Bugis Junction pushcart. ❤❤❤

China Glaze 1121 Dress me up

A dark pinkish nude, or rather...a light purple. Suitable for work and to go with nude tones. Darker in real life though. I will think it suits fair skin tones more as it might make your skin colour look a tad "muddy" if you're tanned. Hope to find a lighter pinkish nude version though.
