Some quick movie reviews~ =)

Ratings: 4.5/5
Enjoyed the movie immensely! It's more of a romantic comedy than a suspense action thriller actually. In any case, I laughed throughoutttt the flick! Certainly a great movie to end the night on a high note! Just a mere dissatisfaction that I will prefer other female leads for the role....like...you know...Kate Hudson....Drew Barrymore......well I dont know...I just feel Reese is not convincing for the role. It's not that she's too old or not pretty enough for the role, because Lauren is a character with personality and exudes attitude, charm and wit. She cant be someone toooooo glamorous or stunning like Nicole Kidman or Angelina Jolie since Lauren had no suitors until her friend resorted her to online dating. Anyway.....I simply feel Reese is acting that role...unconvincingly. She's just not...quirky or funny enough I feel.... Hmmm.....wonder anyone feels the same as me? Side step abit though, if I'm Lauren, I will pick her opposite choice instead. =)

Ratings: 3/5
Manz.....I really have to give in to the director, for it's obviously a very tight budget, a hopelessly boring plot with a...meaningless twist....a pathetic crew of like 10 people? Yet, the show is actually not too bad. I mean, it's not super thrilling but if I can sit down for 1.5hours and finish the show, I think everyone can. And Nicole, how can she still look as lovely and enchanting even with her crazily tousled hair and tears-streaked face? She seems perfect for the role. Like who else can be convincing enough for a role who simply did nothing to make mere mortals fall head over heels over her? I cant think of a second choice. =)

7 deadly sins of beauty

Came across this very interesting tag from Jen's blog, which reads the 7 deadly sins of beauty. Sounds quite sinfully alluring huh? It actually consists of 7 questions, asking you how the individual sins like Greed, Lust, Sloth etc reminds you of which beauty product, particularly products which you love of course. It's pretty intriguing and interesting!

1. GREED: What is your most inexpensive beauty item? What is your most expensive?
2. WRATH: What beauty products do you have a love/hate relationship with? What product has been the hardest to get?
3. GLUTTONY: What are your most delicious beauty products?
4. SLOTH: What beauty product do you neglect, due to laziness?
5. PRIDE: What beauty product gives you the most self confidence?
6. LUST: What attributes do you find most attractive in the opposite sex?
7. ENVY: What items would you most like to receive as a gift?

And I thought I do one too. =) My answers might not be entirely accurate since I have a lousy memory(especially to prices) but hell, let's do it. I will probably have more than 1 answer to 1 question because very often, more than 1 answer popped up in my head at the SAME time. =P

1. GREED: What is your most inexpensive beauty item? What is your most expensive?

Haha! My most inexpensive beauty item must be my falsies. I'm super stingy when it comes to falsies because they're so perishable. I bought bulk from Japan Daiso which costs around S$0.70-$1.70 per pair while those in Sg Daiso costs $2. Hmm, boxes of 10 pairs are also pretty cheap from Bangkok and Taiwan. They are really good enough for me. I simply use 2 pairs if I want more volume.

Another 2 items which popped up in my head at the same time are: o2 skin's eye shadows and Etude house Proof 10 black liquid eye-liner.

o2 skin is the sister company of Bio-skin, and if you can remember, they(o2) once had an advert by Tank. Not a very popular brand, and only a few individual booths in Sg, and prices are dirt-cheap. I was initially very skeptical too so I only bought 2 eye-shadows, a rose-gold and moss green colour from them once when I was at AMK hub. Probably around S$10 or lesser. But wow, the colours are simply gorgeous and so pigmented that a little goes a long way. It's lasting power is pretty good and outstanding when applied after Urban Decay primer potion. But aiyo, they're so ulu that I cant even find their website or a proper picture. Here's 1 picture of the eye-shadows which I mentioned. One con though, they're pretty fragile and can break easily if you dropped them and the packaging isnt very secure.

I dont think I need to introduce Etude house, a popular Korean brand further. Although many of you will know Etude is so much cheaper in Korea. =) However, I bought the Proof 10 black liquid eye-liner on a friend's recommendation when we were shopping in JB and it's like only S$10+ during a sale or something. Amazingly, it's like the most resistant liquid eye-liner I've ever used. Can you imagine it survived a 6 hours shopping in Chatuchuk in the most horrible summer weather? No smudges, no nothing, even without primer. It simply stays perfect, admist sweat la, oil la etc. I only had eye-liner on without any makeup for my last Bangkok trip. Time was simply too precious for shopping to be wasted on applying makeup. Haha!

As for the most expensive beauty product I have, it would be the stupid SK2 pitera essence as well as it's Cellumination essense, which simply gives me NOTHING except break-outs. DUhz!! Anyway, I couldnt call to mind any specific one product which is really expensive(I dont think I have). I supposed....the more costly products I have are perfumes....say....my Chanel No.5,
Calèche by Hermès and Incanto by Salvatore Ferragamo etc.

Chanel No.5 was my favorite before I got to know about Ferragamo's Incanto(will be mentioned more later)... In any case, Chanel No.5 is a very very alluring and classy scent but the parfum(EdP) was really too heavy on my nose, despite the salesgirl saying how long parfum lasts. I also remembered it has a killer price tag too! So I settled for the Chanel No. 5 Eau Premiere, which is a lighter, fresher and softer interpretation of the classic Chanel No. 5

I used to spend alot on re-purchasing the Su Hyang Snow series from TheFaceShop on a bi-monthly basis but stopped after their products gradually lost their effectiveness due to skin's immunity. However, I still have them to thank for my lighter and brighter complexion as compared to the past. I became a shade lighter than I previously was and had to change my foundations/powders because they became too dark for me.

But recently I did spend like around S$200+ on Pupa body products. They're from france and available in SASA. Initially I tried their breast serum on a friend's recommendation who said they're good in firming. After using, I do agree. Erm, in fact it's so effective that I felt...it's not very advisable to use too much on the whole you-know......or to be used too frequently...because ah.....you know when you over-firm something, sometimes it gets smaller...ultimately they're all fats.... *blushed right down to hair roots* Well, I'm sharing here else if anyone uses it and their precious got smaller, then I sure kanna hoot lor.

Anyway, I went back and bought their bottom serums as well as inner arms re-shaping cream. And same thing, I feel the breast and bottom serums should only be used moderately...on perhaps...you know the....the...like....aiya.....for example, for the bottom serums, if you dont wish to reduce the size of your bottom but merely wish to firm them, you can apply them on the butt cheeks instead of the whole bottom. Like wise for breasts. Hope I've made myself clear... Of course if you wish to reduce the size of your wholeeee bottom, then I'll strongly recommend it to be applied on the whole area of course.

The inner arms re-shaping cream works pretty well too. I feel my arms became more toned and kinda slimmed down too. Definitely less flabby. Wahahaha. I do use them on my inner thighs too. Although they do have the inner thigh serum as well.

Hmm.....I definitely prefer breast/bottom serums from The Natural Source, Australia, namely "Better Breasts" and "Better Bottom" serums, for they do an excellent job in firming your assets but will not overly reduce the size of them. Sadly, the Sg branches had closed down. Sigh...............

2. WRATH: What beauty products do you have a love/hate relationship with? What product has been the hardest to get?

Like Jen, I also had a love/hate relationship with a product that is discontinued in Singapore. Sigh! It's my favorite fragrance from, Salvatore Ferragamo, Incanto(original). I know there were many new editions in the line of Incanto fragrances, like Shine, Bliss, Heaven etc but my only love is the original Incanto because the other scents were kinda too sweet for me. I think fragrance is a very personal, individual and private thing. Because it simply represents you and reflects your personality. Which is why I dont like scents which are too sweet because I'm far from sweet. Wahahaha. It's an identity. It's like how people get used to being around you, used to your scent. While I'm perfectly okie to anyone using any same product as me, I dont really like people using the same scent as me. Weird huh~

And the most horrible thing to happen to me(other than it's discontinued), it's my dearest hubby actually usurped my favorite fragrance. (=.=)'''''''' Initially, he merely mentioned he loves the scent and asked whether he can use it. I said, of course, go ahead, thinking it was just a one-time thing. Alas, from then on, he began using it everyday. It became his favorite. And it's like.........when we went out, whether it's just us, or with our mutual friends, we simply put on the same scent. Which is..........to me, it's like, I've lost my identity because we both smell the same. ZzzzZzz. He smelled like me and beside him, I felt as if I'm smelling like myself and he probably feels I smell like him too. No identity, no unique-ness you see. I did hinted him to use his own fragrances, like his DKNY green apple, Burberry Body.....but no....he's obsessed with Incanto.

We continued to finish a few of the largest size bottles while I tried my damnest to find another scent which I love..........find a new identity, since mine had been stolen. =P I've tried like hundreds of scents......still......I cant find any....which I feel reflects me. Sigh......Until few months back, I finally found one. =D Though...I think Incanto is still my no. 1 favorite. A truly love and hate affair, for the man I love actually stole my identity. =P Maybe it's possible to find the scent in some private perfume stores or even online, but the point, I can never use it again because my SO is using it. ZzzZzz

And off topic abit, I only got to know this fragrance when a friend bought it for me as a Christmas gift way back in year 2003. Apart from the perfume, he also got the soundtrack from "Love Actually" and a wand which will sparkle at a press of a button. It was very sweet as I merely mentioned I like the last 2 items and he got it for me. We were really good friends then who can chat about anything under the sun anytime anywhere. The sad thing or rather the thing I hate was he avoided me after I said we couldnt be a couple and will be better off as friends. That's it. He simply vanished into thin air after that. I dont understand this thing about guys that why....why cant remain as friends? It must be either girlfriend or stranger? 2 choose 1 and you are forced to choose. What happens to the friendship we shared? I love my friends and I treasure friendships alot alot, but sometimes when this kinda things happen, I really, really, really hate it! Truly a love and hate affair.

Wow! Imagine my relationship with Incanto is 9 years!! Even longer than my relationship with hubby. Haha!

The product which is the hardest to get?
It is the previously mentioned Calèche by Hermès fragrance...being 1 of my most expensive beauty products. As I mentioned I've forgotten how I came across this very unique scent...perhaps through some magazine samples...but I only know it's from Hermès. And so I simply went into the boutique and sniffed every fragrance until I found this unique scent which I adore. Talk about perseverance...haha. But I think not many people will like this scent. Was searching for it's picture when I came across this interesting site which lists the top 10 most expensive perfumes in the world, with Chanel No. 5 in it too. Hmmm......like seriously?? Very interesting....it includes a few brands which I've never heard before.

3. GLUTTONY: What are your most delicious beauty products?

The first product which comes to mind is Polynia Sakura Wine Pitera Mask, which smells as deliciously as my favorite Rum & Raisin ice-cream!! A very sad thing though, I dont know where can I get it now. I bought my first tub from a spree. It's a great mask where effects can be seen immediately and it's one of the very few masks which reduces pore size effectively. The best part is it contains pitera just like SK2 but only at a fraction of the price. What's more, it doesnt break me out like SK2 does!!

Ok....You must think me irritating for keep mentioning products which are not available anymore. ZzZz Alright. I would think other than naming another delicious product, I'll rather share products which I think can make me, or rather any girl look delicious. Undoubtedly, it will be lip products. My favorites will be Revlon Super Lustrous lipgloss in Nude Lustre and Dior Addict Ultra lipgloss in Pink Trench .

The former is a very elegant nudish pink which goes well with every look while the latter is the only baby pink lipgloss which I can wear and dont look funny or feel awkward about it. Because I feel I look weird in pink glosses.... I have naturally rather red lips(when I'm not sick) and it's troublesome to conceal them in order to wear pink lipsticks/glosses. Actually I seldom wear lip products because I dont like my hair sticking to my lip glosses. They dont last anyway after a meal or a mug of beer. Blearh~

But IMHO, the most delicious look a girl can carry is when she's wearing no lip product(makeup too, if you can!) at all! Because you look so ready to be kissed. Lol. Lipglosses and lipsticks can be a turn-off for some guys who actually wants to kiss you. NOT that I dont wear them because I want guys to kiss me okay........*&^%$#%^&*........ but I believed I've made my point. Of course, dry, chapped lips are totally not desirable so do moisturize them regularly with lip balms. My favorite is Nivea Hydro Care. Moisturizes well, not sticky nor heavy...it simply feels like a stream of cool water just quenched your lips. No funny or overly sweet...eeee smell either, just a faint vanilla scent. Looks like you're wearing nothing on your kissable lips. =) Hmm...however, if you have naturally pale lips, I think you can apply abit of lip tint. It looks more natural than lipsticks. =)

4. SLOTH: What beauty product do you neglect, due to laziness?

Wow!! Seriously I think I can skip everything!! Especially if I'm home late from work, clubbing or mahjiong. I simply remove my makeup, bathe and go straight to bed. In fact, the most important thing which I will never neglect no matter how lazy or tired I am is my bath! Haha. I hardly neglect products due to laziness, perhaps more when I'm rushing for time. When that's the case, usually I'll skip lip products because my lips look kinda red anyway, and also my eye-brows as well as eye-shadows. On the other hand, products which I hardly neglect would be sunblock and sometimes eye-liner. =)

5. PRIDE: What beauty product gives you the most self confidence?

Actually I'm one who prefer to go out with a fresh body. Meaning, a fresh bath, hair newly washed and blow dry, face washed etc. I will be more confident, or rather, more at ease if I head out RIGHT AFTER my bath and after I blow dry my hair. Geez. I'm super, duper uneasy and unconfident if I'm to go out without a fresh bath(a bath of 3hrs ago also cannot!) or with un-fresh hair. No matter how much makeup I had on, if I didnt bathe just right before I head out OR if I didnt wash and blow dry my hair just before I head out, I just wont feel confident. They are my basics. Other than that...eye-liners and falsies will enhance my confidence. =)

6. LUST: What attributes do you find most attractive in the opposite sex?

Wah...my answer can go on forever. Lol.
Attributes. I must say, mannerisms, gentlemanly behavior, the way a guy carries himself, the way he speaks as well as a sense of witty humor are most attractive. At first impression though, I'm more particular with...haha...hygience and neatness. Like, the guy should have clean hair, smells nice(please no smokey smell), no oily face and dress reasonably smart. He dont need to dress to the nines but at the minimum, not sloppy or messy. Of course, flawless skin and teeth with a great smile will be a plus. Kekeke! =D Hmm.....square jaws are pretty sexy too. Opps~

But if I'm to answer truthfully to the sinful question, a.k.a. Lust, I think a nice but not overly heavy fragrance would be a perfect weapon to incite...not say lust lah...but rather an intriguing interest. Fragrance, is like a cherry on top of a nice package of aura. It's the first and also the last impression you give. So do choose your scent well. =)

7. ENVY: What items would you most like to receive as a gift?

Like Jen....the one thing which I have regrets about...is having tiny feet which deters me from buying the shoes I love in the world. She complains about her size 3.5 feet, what should I do about my size 2.5-3 feet then?? Sometimes I cant even fit into some size 3 shoes. Sigh! I cant call to mind anything which I particularly want.....however, I do miss some of my favorite items which are not(easily) available anymore....especially all the above mentioned discontinued products...

Like.....

1) L'occitane's pink rose blusher - Entire makeup line disappeared in Singapore!

2) The Natural Source from Australia - Sg's branches closed down. =(
I love their Daintree's tropical sugarcane miracle body whip...which simply smells heavenly. Simply delicious. Their breasts/bottom serums are also great.

3) Polynia Sakura Wine Pitera Mask

4) Seattle's Chocolates from U.S.......I love the champagne truffles. =(
Hopefully I'm able to get them when I go U.S in June....

5) Lindt's Chocolates from Switzerland....I love the truffles and pralines. =(
I did search for my fave pink box in Singapore but they dont have it. =(((

Those chocolates dont ship to Sg. =( Afraid that they melt too. Omg...I'm talking about chocolates. Super OT.

Anyway, hope you enjoy this super lo-soh post and do leave your link behind if you're sharing your 7 deadly sins of beauty too!! \(^o^)/

叶念琛's movies, T-ara's MVs - my new love

Recently, I've been pretty hooked on 叶念琛's movies. FYI, he's a director and not an actor. And most of the time, I'm more concerned with who's the director rather than the casts of the show because I believe a director can make or break a movie. Take, "Taken" the movie, as an example. The simple plot can be summarized in just 2 sentences; "The daughter of an ex-agent, Liam Neeson was being abducted. See how he moved heaven and earth just to get her back." However, the show is one of my favorites. Full of suspense and thrills. And a good director can bring out the potential in the casts, even though they're not super great in acting to start with. That's why you'll see some actors/actresses have amazing performances in some movies but yet disappointing performances in others. It's because of different directors. Shu Qi is one example. =P Of course, a great actor/actress can act as well for every movie, like Tony Lau and Maggie Cheung. =)

叶念琛's movies are made of modernistic love stories with a cynical twist, mostly with unexpected endings. For some newly injected ahh...perspectives, they're really an eye-opener for me. It really got you thinking.... Even though all of them are love stories, you will be surprised that they're not the same at all, comprising of different elements, as I do remember which movie is which story vividly. Here's some recommendations of my few favorites, although I did a search of his movies on Funshion and kinda finished all, if not, most. =P Oh, please view them only if you're above 18! Or 21, better still! And please dont let your kids watch with you. If you get what I mean...haha.

In order of preference;
1) 人约离婚后 Love Is The Only Answer

I'm not doing any introduction of the movie at all lest being a spoiler. But seriously, I laughed non-stop throughout the show!

2) 婚前试爱 Marriage Wa A Liar

3) 我的最爱 L for love, L for lies

4) 十分愛 Love is not all around

5) 独家试爱

Ah yup.....if you realize, the casts keep repeating, like Alex Fong and Stephy Tang. Lol. But I must say Alex Fong is not bad at acting and projected his roles very well. Not super handsome but he has his charm! =)

And if you're super bored at home, here's my recommendation of a 20 episodes drama to keep you occupied during the weekend!

白袍之恋
I'm actually not a fan of taiwanese drama because I feel most of the stories are very.....cheesy....dramatic...immature(Please spare me the puppy love stories in schools....) =P Alright, it's not as if puppy love is childish to me. I had my puppy love too! But it's just not a story which I will spend (45mins X 20-episodes) to watch lor. I'm just...out of that age group lah. Sometimes the dialouge simply makes my hair stand and I dont know why! Perhaps I dont have a romantic bone in my body? But one thing for sure, I definitely have a funny bone in my body because I love this comedy! It's still a very touching love story and every little character in this show is so adorable. I assure you, if you're like me, who find most Taiwanese dramas like what I've described above, 白袍之恋 is definitely not like this and you'll enjoy it. =)

Lastly, some songs which I'm into recently. =)

T-ara & Supernova ~ TTL (Time to Love)

It's a very catchy and upbeat song but surprisingly the lyrics are so sad!! I feel like crying everytime I watch the MV. =( So I try to listen instead of watching it. =P

T-ARA【MVフル】Roly-Poly

Happy Song!! =D

許慧欣-失眠

Kinda sad song but pretty soothing.

Alright! Wishing everyone have a great weekend!! TGIF!!

Wedding dinner at One degree 15 Marina

Firstly, my heartiest congratulations to the newly wedded couple, Taffy & Jovita!!

Attended their wedding dinner at ONE°15 Marina Club, Sentosa and it was truly 1 unique and tranquil venue to hold your special big day. The club is situated by the sea, dotted with numerous magnificent white yatches, it simply spells luxury and yet, carefree-ness. Jov looked simply stunning ever so in every gown she wore because she has such a fantastic figure. With her very sweet smile, it's truly 天使脸孔,魔鬼身材。Lol! I love their photo album taken in taiwan and the pictures were really such an eye-opener! Like, have you ever seen wedding pictures taken with a splendid white piano admist serene lake rippled waters? Lovely.

Initially I was seated with a group of close friends. But dont know why, just before the march-in, J with her daughter and me were coerced into shifting to another table, just beside them. With people whom I dont know very well. I was actually kinda sian lah, even though the wholeeee table of guys were actually kinda friendly. But as the night proceeds, and because Taffy and Jov were so generous with treating their guests with ample alcohol, my table of guys got pretty drunk. Seriously, I dislike people who're drink as if...as if there's no tomorrow at a WEDDING and then get disgustingly drunk until they lost their composure. Oh yeah and I'm reminded of a particular someone. *Rollz eyes*

And when I meant "drink as if there's no tomorrow", it means ordering as many as 12 glasses of wine in advance even when you haven finish your glass! Because our table had 2 absent guests, so yes, there're ample place to place the dozen glasses of wines. As the night proceeds with more drinks consumed, the guys got rowdier and louder. Our table got so much attention from the other tables that I felt kinda embarrassing. Promptly fled to my close friends' table(wasnt full too) but my happiness were short-lived. It was kinda like a wedding-half-time and all the guests were mingling from tables to tables. Sigh....And when I meant someone is "disgustingly drunk", it means going to another table on unsteady feet, got so close to someone you dont know very well, coughing your alcohol-filled breath onto her face, saying things you shouldnt and then outrageously running your hands through her hair! Arrgggghhhh! I've never in my life thought that I will experience such things during a wedding, for god's sake. FML. I had to flee to the toilet. FFFML. Seriously I meant to leave, but I thought it's not nice to leave a wedding until it ends.

Oh well. At least he didnt puke onto me. He puked onto the floor instead. Else, I will seriously punch him, no matter wedding or not OKAY!

Alright, I'm kidding...I will never do that during my friends' dear wedding. But seriously please dont let that happen to me my dear god!! It's this sameeee group of people who deter me from bringing my C fabric bag to dinners because 1 silly drunk B* nearlyyyy spilled her red wine on my bag. Tell you, my heart nearly jumped out! Short of sounding like a snob....but it's limited edition you see. =/

Still, I'm very happy that Jov invited me and I felt blissful sharing her joy and catching up with my close friends. We'll mahjiong soon ok? Hee!

Actually I meant to summarize Jov's wedding and then go on to share some lovely MVs, dramas and products which I'm recently into. Ended up grumbling about this instead. Duhz. Shall leave it to another entry then. Hopefully I have time to share them, before my "fire" died down.

Down with a bad bad sorethroat, not much voice now. Haiz.....

What's your moon sign?

I have always been a believer of horoscopes. Although I definitely dont agree there's only 12 types of people on earth, I believe horoscopes do give alot of insights about a person, at least to a certain extent. The basic "skeleton" is there, perhaps just in varying degrees. When I just got to know someone or just anyone, I will be very curious with his/her horoscope, a.k.a, Sun sign.

What are Sun Signs?

When the Sun enters a Zodiac Sign it becomes a Sun Sign and is determined by the month and day a person enters this world.

Sun Signs will reveal much regarding our essential personality, particularly our inner self. It reveals the part of our personality that is our basic self, or who we are when we are not surrounded by other people. In other words our essential personality is our most basic, broad, inner traits.

Source: http://www.alwaysastrology.com

Truth to be told, yes....I'm kinda judgmental...of course I do spend effort to get to know more later la. The process is interesting....when eventually you'll analyze and conclude whether the new friend you make does behave like his/her Sun sign or not. =)

For e.g, the first impression(both good and bad) I get for these signs are....

Aquarius - Loyal and bubbly friends, very fun to be with. Eccentric, smart, creative, their mind works in very different ways. Straight-forward too. But the males are quite MCP. However, they're excellent husbands as they are loyal and takes great care of partners.

Pisces - The males are a dreamy bunch, always looking for a fairytale love. Very well-groomed, romantic and caring. The females are dreamy too, but seldom look like so. Speaks with attitude, most are chilli-padis, not one to be trifled with.

Aries - The males are generous and are good with lies. Both males and females take good care of their friends, but are surprisingly dominant at home. Very straight-forward.

Taurus - Very practical, and some males can be hopelessly pragmatic and miserly. Loves money. Hardworking and faithful. Down-to-earth and not romantic(most of the time).

Gemini - Very sociable flirts, quick mind, good with words, hardly stays in 1 place, hard to handle/control but faithful when they found The One. Be very careful when dealing with single geminis, they're masters of mind-games and heart-breakers!

Cancer - Homely, fiercely loyal but equally revengeful if they're being betrayed. Super-ultra sensitive and can be pretty clingy to partners. Insecure. Alot of emotional ups-and-downs which can be pretty difficult to handle.

Leo - Confident, very high pride, optimistic, fussy, loyal friends and partners but can be exceedingly heartless and cold to people who let them down, in any way. Looks tough on the outside but are sensitive and soft on the inside. Opps....am I describing myself? =P

Virgo - Sensitive, super observant right till your fingernails, smart and intuitive, excellent memory(dont try to lie to them) and this is quite 1 of the hardest horoscope for me to understand. Because they hide everything inside, very scary at times. Perfectionists. Master of deception.

Libra - Charming flirts who love everything pretty, sweet and cute. Thus are easily attracted to nice faces and well-groomed hair. Very vain! Haha. Socialize well if they wish, dislike non-gentlemanly behavior. But basically, they're ok with everyone and everyone loves them.

Scorpio - I feel they are 2 groups of scorpios. One group is exceedingly nice and one group is so not nice. I guess the bottomline is, you either love or hate them. For they move heaven and earth for their partners and good friends but can chillingly tear you apart if you threaten them in any way. Fiercely loyal, sensitive and possessive. Always believe they're right.

Sagittarius - Makes you laugh anytime, anywhere. Optimistic, hardworking, innocently blunt and speaks whatever's on his/her mind. Insensitive to everything, doesnt know how to console you. Mostly extroverts. Have honey lips and mostly flirts. Hates being tied down and terrified of clingy partners. Only loyal to The One or after marriage.

Capricorn - Diligent and mostly excels in their career. Practical and loves power/money. Usually transform themselves into your dream guy/girl during dating but reverts back to their old self after been together. Dependable and stable partners. Not romantic. Extraordinary perseverance.

About Leo, actually every description says pretty much the same stuff...the same boring stuff...like..."The charismatic center of attention, the Leo Sun Sign personality is ambitious, dominant and full of confidence. A born leader, they are most comfortable when they are in charge, and they bring out a strong sense of loyalty in their followers. Strong-willed and independent, they often place themselves in the center ring." bla bla bla.

So I'm not actually going to say more. But what interests me is my Moon Sign. While they say the Sun Sign only reflects certain traits and the impression which you give people, the Moon Sign is the one which reveals your innerself, your emotional side etc. So I'm pretty curious about mine. =P

What are Moon Signs?

Moon Signs help define our emotional development, or express the unconscious side of our personality. It explains why we do what we do. This is where we retreat for comfort, childhood memories, and peace. This can also be the place where anger, hate, jealousy and fear may be found.

The Moon also influences our senses depending on its placement in the birth chart. Most people will have their Moon in a Sign that is different from their Sun. This is why many people with the same Sun Sign can be so different from each other. They may feel that when they read a description of their Sign, that it is not representative of them. It may feel incomplete, or even completely inaccurate. Moon Signs may be a much more accurate description of what a person is like.

Moon Signs

If your Moon Sign is the same as your Sun Sign, you may find that it amplifies the traits of that Sign. This would make you a "double" of your Sign, such as a "double Gemini." The Moon also governs the heart, stomach, brain, bladder, bowels and the left eye. It has influence with the glands and fluids of the body.

The Moon is said to represent your instinctual self, which many people keep hidden. On points where your Sun and Moon Signs are compatible, they will work together to help you get through the hardships and accomplish your goals. Where they are not compatible, you will feel conflicting desires or be at odds with yourself in some Full Moonway. For example, if your Moon is in Gemini, you may be very changeable emotionally. You may get stressed out easily, and the more people you discuss your issues with, the more confused you may become. Scorpio Moons also deal with a lot of stress, but tend to keep it all under wraps. Jealousy may be a big problem for a person with a Scorpio Moon. Aries Moons are headstrong, aggressive and may be difficult to control. They do best if they can find a physical outlet for their emotions, like sports. Our Moon Sign also offers insight in how to reach our inner child.

Find your Moon Sign

So my Sun Sign is Leo, while my Moon sign is Aries. Maybe that explains my high pride...which can be sooooooo annoying!! I know!! But just cant help it. =(
However, as both Leo and Aries are fire signs(elements), the differences arent huge. I'm still pretty much a "fiery" chillipadi. Just that Leo is a Fixed sign while Aries is a Cardinal sign. You can read more here. Oh yes...horoscopes aint as simple as you think. =)

And this description....is kinda....accurate. =P

Aries Moon Sign

The Moon rules the emotional self, so when the Moon is in Aries, watch out! Aries Moon is not known for restraint. They are impulsive and enthusiastic. If an idea strikes them, they are the first on the bandwagon to make it reality, without stopping to think about any obstacles that may be in the way. Spontaneous and determined, they let their heart rule their head.

Moon Sign Aries is happy, optimistic, and impatient. They live for the moment, forgetting all else. Instant gratification is their middle name. They are passionate and have no qualms about sharing how they feel. At the same time, they can be very independent. They don't like to take no for an answer. They have the self-confidence to put themselves out there and they want to make a strong impression. Subtle does not describe this Sign. They are well-suited to meeting challenges that may destroy lesser people. They are clever and often approach their situations with a novel angle. Occasionally there are the few who may blame everything on other people.

Aries Moon takes everything personally, but they don't hold grudges. If they feel slighted they will burst out angrily and let those responsible know about it. Their emotions can rapidly change, and they can throw some spectacular tantrums. These emotional outbursts are usually over as quickly as they started. They don't normally take any time to consider the consequences of their actions. They seem to be able to just shrug off anything that goes wrong and keep going. They tend to calm down as they get older.

Moon Sign Aries gets bored easily. They have been accused of causing confrontations just to keep things interesting. If you live with a Moon in Aries person, keep this in mind. It may make it easier to deal with the drama that is bound to occur. They like to get their own way, and can resent any authority besides their own. At their worst, Aries Moon can be overconfident, aggressive, self-indulgent and foolhardy. At their best, they can be inspiring, kind, sympathetic, generous and tireless for a cause.

Moon Sign Aries has a problem differentiating between a need and a want. If they want it, they feel they need it with all their being. This can be a problem for overspending or other vices. They are charming, even when they are in the midst of a personal crisis that has all their friends scrambling to help. In the middle of these frequent "crises," they seldom feel any concern over the needs of others.

On the good side, the Aries Moon isn't likely to sulk if they don't get their way. They also play it straight… they don't go for manipulating others through guile or deception. They have an aura of innocence around them. They can achieve what many other people want, but don't take the chance to get. They like the idea of having power, and will probably handle it fine, if a little heavy handed.

Whoever is reading....I can almost seeeee you nodding your head in consensus about alllll my flaws.........especially the "impatient" part. Lol. =P

For a very accurate analysis of someone's personality, it's better to look into his/her astrological natal chart denoted by the 12 houses(ascendants), other than looking at his/her Sun and Moon Signs. However, you need your birth-time to calculate that. Okie~ Have fun exploring your own and dear partners/friends' Moon Signs!
