Alldealsasia's response when product dont match picture

So my issue was addressed here, http://littlechillipadi89.blogspot.sg/2013/07/edited-with-update-to-product-received.html. In short, I ordered 3 difference size of pouches from alldealsasia(ADA), merchant being Voxxus Marketing located at 10 Anson Road #10-11. 

And I complained to ADA because 1 of the pouch totally dont match what was in the picture.

I ordered this.

But I got this instead.

 

I'm clearly annoyed that the biggest pouch is so ugly. So I emailed ADA about it on 10th JULY. I waited 6 days for a reply but I received none. Irritated, I replied with a "HEY I WANT A REPLY!!! Or I'm going to STOMP IT!" And immediately, on the SAME DAY 16th JULY, I received their reply;

Hi Fion,

Thank you for your feedback and our sincerest apologies for the inconvenience.

We have already forwarded the issue to the merchant and are currently awaiting for their response.

Rest assured that we will revert to you once they respond.

Yes this has indeed taken too long a time. I'm extremely busy in AUG with work. Also, my mum is hospitalized since 6th AUG till now. So I really have no time to go to the post office. I hope you can understand as consumers, what we want is very clear-cut; we just want WHAT was being PICTURED as per the deal. I thank your team for liaising with Voxxus Marketing on my behalf and I do appreciate the offer of the S$20 credits or something. I understand the entire fault lies with Voxxus Marketing. However, from this troublesome incident it goes to show one point, that ADA is extremely helpless when the merchant ships items entirely not true to picture or ships wrong items. This can really pose as a additional consideration if I have to consider purchasing another tangible product deal from ADA in future. 

If only you can hear me out on my SUGGESTIONS.

I'm guessing that ADA paid out a percentage of the proceeds right after the delivery of the item? Perhaps ADA can consider to only pay out proceeds at least 1 month after the item was delivered? So that if customers receive defected or wrong products, the merchant can/must take necessary action to replace or refund before ADA transfer them their proceeds. I think there's a need to review your contract signed with your merchants; merchants should have the duty to replace or refund wrong/defected products or else subjected to the right of not receiving proceeds for that particular sale. ADA should exercise more power. Ask your lawyer~ This is only FAIR to your customers. Even Groupon promises to refund the full deal price if there is anything dis-satisfactory.

ADA should also STATE the NAME of the MERCHANT with their full address so that they will be more accountable and responsible when their reputation is at stake.  

As for your customer service, I only receive a reply after I threatened to stomp this issue. This made me very disgusted. As much as I appreciate the offer of S$20 credits, I'm still disappointed with how this matter was being handled. As I mentioned, customers shouldnt need to bear the responsibility, trouble nor cost to mail back the item when the fault lies with the merchant. However, I do see you've tried your best so I wont stomp this. 

I do hope ADA can have some improvements.......until then.......we'll see.

I bought these authentic Chanel makeup/parfumes pouches from alldealsasia for only S$39!! Arent they adorable?? They're in glossy PU leather with the brand name in PINK. So sweet!!! I STILL love my Rilakkuma makeup pouch given to me by dear Gra on 1 of my birthdays and I've used it for YEARS. Until it's kinda dirty inside already. Lol. But I will still keep it!! This lass is the sweetest. She ALWAYS buy stuffs I love(I love Rilakkuma...makeup etc. =P). She also gave me the limited edition of DKNY golden delicious(apple) perfume last year, which is another of my favorite scent(green apple). I haven use yet though(Dont bear to use!!). I really really appreciate friends who buy birthday pressies for me with my heart(有我的心! Awwww!!) Love you much!!!

I'm quite a sucker for matching stuff(I always match my shoes/bags with my attire too) so I thought they're perfect to use with my Chanel GST. =D

Cant really describe and explain the sheer joy of simply my hubby coming back home to me. This is love I guess. =) Of course, my darling bought me supper too! Hee. That's probably why I'm getting fatter and fatter.

It has been a super unlucky week for me as I kept falling sick. One illness after another, or rather, when it rain, it pours. =( So I'm on a 5days course of antibiotics. To make things worse, I suddenly developed a lump under my chin near the throat, which is super painful even when I'm not talking. :~( It rather felt like I have an adam's apple(some distance above the throat though). Sometimes you have sorethroat but your ear gets swollen instead! It's more bizarre. Anyway....if tomorrow the pain doesnt cease, I might make a trip down to see Dr tan again......Sigh....... I'm just feeling super grouchy, restless and emooooo. Thank god tomorrow both dearie and me are off. =D

Damn, and my Note 2 is in for repairs. I have trouble charging it. =(  And it's 3-5 working days. Now, I'm using dearie's iphone3 and I feel most frustrated without the "back" button. And I couldnt see my contacts at all because they're not visible unless I import them into the handphone(which I dont want lah because it's hubby's phone). No what'sapp too. My own iphone3 was locked with password and I forgot my password.

Movie title: Jack Reacher

Ratings: 3.8/5

Comments: It's not bad, I feel most Tom's movies have a minimum standard. But if compare to the Mission Impossible series, especially it's part 3, then "Jack Reacher" is a let-down because it's not thrilling enough. More details into plot and...how the puzzle is being unwind. Started off real slowly but gets better. Dont have too high expectations and you'll probably be satisfied. I might be too obsessed with Liam Neeson, as I still feel he's a better candidate for the role, especially right after hubby told me Jack Reacher is a 1.90+m guy in the novel. Liam is 1.93m. =P

NOT like deal.com.sg who only wants to earn profit, after-sales customer service SUCKS BIG TIME. I had a very experience once because they sold a very misleading manicure deal by DenizNailz and they didnt even bother to reply me an apologetic email! I actually called DenizNailz and the boss himself, Deniz is actually pretty polite and accommodating. So the actual problem lies with deal.com.sg, who DELIBERATELY MISLEADS people to buy their deal by their ambiguous deal details. Never buy another deal from them again!

Okie, back to the Review of Salav Steam Mop STM401:

To cut the long story short;

Pros:

- Requires little effort to push it around the house; i.e, it's not heavy

- Cleans reasonably well in relatively short time. Floor is clean and smooth

- Looks more expensive than it really is and is of acceptable quality

- Automatically switched off when water ran out in tank

- Heats up extremely fast - i.e, able to start mopping in less than a minute after water is poured into tank

Cons:

- Power chord too damn short, only 5metres. 

Thank god I have power supply in every corner of my house, otherwise it's impossible to mop the whole house. For my whole house of 100sq metres(furnitures does matter too), I think I changed like 6-7 times, dont quite remember. And everytime I change, the hot steam will stop for like 20seconds before it resumes. 

- Need to refill water tank of around 3-4 times for the whole house

- Does not remove stubborn stains or dirt. The pad does not hold hair or any debris at all. So it's essential to vacuum floor before mopping(which I did, but some hairs here and there is inevitable). 

Overall: 

I'm still very glad I bought it because it requires much lesser effort than traditional mops or Scotch-brite mops. I wont be super overly tired after mopping. And for this, because pushing it around is a breeze without straining the back, dearie can use it too. So he can help me with mopping if required. It cleans better than traditional mops too. No need for buckets, or umpteen times of washing the mop/Scotch-brite pad.

Conclusion: 

This mop is very suitable for old and frail people, like me, who dont have a very strong back and suffers backaches now and then. Because it doesnt stress the back and is a breeze to be pushed around.

This mop is more suitable for small houses, like mine, but make sure you have power supply in every corner. For big houses, forget it. You can plug unplug plug unplug plug unplug plug unplug until you die~

For the fibre pads, I've emailed Salav@pacificcorp.com.sg  to check already. It's around S$16 for 2 and you can buy from them. They're located at tradehub.
