Finally tried out the much raved Sushi Bar at fareast plaza.
(Not to be confused with The Standing Sushi Bar and Koh Grill & Sushi bar) --> Will try soon!!!

Hotate mentaiyaki ($13)

Hotate salmon aburi ($18)

Chawanmushi ($2.80)

All these taste so so so good! Just mentioning them got me fantasizing about them again.
Recently I'm so obsessed with mentaiko and aburi. Lol.

Something to note: It's very crowded so early reservations are recommended. The place is very small, humbly-renovated and most chairs dont even have backings(ahhh...my poor back). The service was good when it's not crowded but simply terrible when it's running full house. I dont mean the girls are rude or anything but they are simply too blur! SQ arrived later than me but she ordered the SAME 3 dishes as me. We repeated her orders thrice to different waitresses but only 2 out of her 3 dishes came(the appetizers chawanmushi and mentaiyaki). Sigh.....Thank god SQ wasnt too hungry. Eventually we left without waiting any longer (more than an hr)

Not recommended when you're very hungry. Prices are considered slightly on the high side considering it's environment.
