Would you prefer to FORGET someone totally who has hurt you and altogether with the heart-wrenching memories?
Or would you prefer to REMEMBER him/her, together with all the pain which he/she had inflicted on you(as in the lyrics)?

I'll choose both.

I wont try to forget anyone who has crossed my path, no matter how ill-fated things might be.
I'll remember the sweet memories but will forget the bad ones. Very selective. =)

I believed more than once, I had yelled, "I wish I have never known you!" or "I wish we had never cross our paths in life" to one or another. Lol. But actually I'm not one who can hate a person for long. In fact, it's hard for me to stay angry with anyone for long. Unless that person realllllyyyy gets on my nerves. =P Even if somehow I need to say goodbye to some people, I wont regret knowing them because they gave me some sweet memories as well. They must have, because no one can be hurt by someone who has never done anything sweet to them.

Will you be hurt emotionally by a stranger who hurls vulgarities at you?

You wont. You will be furious but you wont feel hurt.

Surely, someone must have treated you in sweet ways but somehow stopped doing it etc to make you feel hurt.

So just remember the sweet stuffs and forget the bad stuff. =) I dont know but it comes pretty naturally easy for me. Of course, with time lah. Maybe the bad stuff wont disappear in your brain since we're not senile, but they'll just slowly fade into that remote corner in your brain.

Be thankful that you're survived them and they made you stronger. Nobody is indispensable and life is too short to be wilted away for people who are simply just not meant to be.

Sometimes these sweet memories can bring a smile to your face, when triggered by say...a song...a place or a sentence. They're like an occasional dose of endorphin. =D

Lastly, dont EVER try to forget anyone. It's not really possible. Unless you get into a coma.

On the contrary, the MORE you try to forget someone, the CLEARER he or she stays into your mind.

Right?

So the conclusion is?

Dont try to forget la. Just let him/her fade away~ Meet more new people, eventually there will be this significant someone who can erase the painful and deep footprints left behind on your heart previously. You dont really need to do anything at all actually. Just remember not to dwell in the hurt which he/she had caused you. Do not re-play painful scenes again and again in your mind. Everytime they comes into your head, immediately replace them with sweet and romantic scenes. Treat it as an occasional indulge of fantasy, but please remember it's only a fantasy and he/she wont be coming back. Do not fantasize the impossible. If you really need to fantasize, fantasize you'll meet a rich, hunk tomorrow in the cafes/clubs etc. =P

The right kind and right amount of fantasies, at the right time, can be a life booster. =)

What......you're never meet another guy/girl like him/her??

Dont be silly. The world is so big. =) Tell yourself you deserve BETTER!

China Glaze Metallic nails

I love China Glaze's nail polishes. I have very weak and brittle nails which chip ALL the time, especially when I still do housework time to time. Somemore I'm so chor lor. :P Ever since I try Opi's Nail Envy, a Nail strengthener, hand in hand with China Glaze's nail polishes, my nails actually didnt chip for more than 4 days. Trust me, it's already a miracle.

Some people misunderstood China Glaze's from China. It's actually from L.A and the reason why they're called China Glaze is because they use China Clay in their nail polishes as a strengthener so that nails don't chip easily. I do agree that O.P.I has more amazing colours, brilliance and shine, but if possible I always go for China Glaze nowadays. Nails last longer. :)

If your nails chip easily, can try the following below. Remember to swipe the nails tips horizontally with a finishing move so that colours sealed in and lasts longer. French tips also helps.

EOTD - Cyan turquoise eyes

Just so to match my new dress =P

Steps:
1) Blend beige eyeshadow over entire eye socket as a base. So that eyes can be more 立体(3D) later
2) Apply L'oreal "Innocent turquoise" over eyelid
3) Apply L'oreal "All Night Blue" lightly, with an inverted "c" shape on outer 1/3 of eyelid and blend inwards
4) Apply Shu Uemura "P blue 610" on the middle of eyelid, blend in circles, to make eyes pop. Apply some in inner eye corner and bottom tear duct to brighten whole look
5) Line upper eyes fully with a slight wing tip and 2/3 of lower eye with any black liquid eye liner(mine is from étude house proof10, discontinued)
6) Apply mascara to top and bottom lashes
7) Put on falsies

*Pictures taken with iPhone w/o editing except cropping so colors are pretty true to pic though the camera can't really capture the graduation in colors very nicely*

2nd visit to Pic nique(jcube)

White wine prawn pasta - according to dearie, the taste and the prawns overall wasn't too bad. However too oily. There's an excess of a full tablespoon of oil after he finished the pasta. Gross to the max.

Crab chowder - actually the taste is not too bad, tasted more like a potatoe and claw chowder, coupled with corn taste. However it's too liquid. I like my soup slightly thicker. Also there is corn inside, I don't like corn and I don't like the taste of corn soup.

Eggs Benedict - I don't like the hollandaise sauce. Don't know how to describe but just don't like the taste. . Like the muffins, crisp yet soft. However I was seriously disgusted by 1 of the 2 poached eggs. Raw egg white flowed out from 1 and immediately doused my appetite. Thankfully it was the 2nd egg. The 1st one was okay.

Seriously don't understand how can a simple poached egg fail. Sigh..

Totally random but I like my diamantes ribbon ring. :)

Fisherman's Wharf, Pier 39

Interestingly, the tour guide said only Pier 39 is worth a visit.

All the other piers had literally nothing much to see.

It was truly bustling with people and liveliness.

Super sunny but I love the sky. =)

There are actually many restaurants there but we headed to Boudin at the recommendation of the tour guide for their famous Clam Chowder. Again, "见面(汤)不如闻名". It's like Campbell's soup lor. No wait, I think Campbell's soup is better because I always cook it thicker and more flavorful. HAHAHA~~

The Prawn angel hair pasta was very nice.

Generous big succulent prawns and pasta with the right texture. Wonderful taste as well.

The chocolate lava cake was a disappointment because..........nevermind that the chocolate lava didnt flow out nicely, I didnt even see any chocolate lava at all in the cake!!

The Creme Brulee, I kinda remembered it being overly sweet.

Still, it's our "lomantic" lunch by the window, with a nice view. =D

I have to emphasize once again that meals in U.S are expensive.

I think the above pretty simple meal set us back by maybe...US$80.

You can actually book yatch rides to cruise nearby islands like Angel Island and Treasure Island etc.

But I rather spend my time shopping. HAHA! Bought many nice San Francisco tops!

Love the architectures there, or rather, all architectures in San Francisco.

I really feel like coughing blood sometimes. See this beautiful sky and sea dotted by numerous handsome yatches, with a vintage little bicycle by the side?

I took such a nice pic of dearie and you guess how it turns out for me at the same spot??

That's why usually I take pictures of him, and not him of me.

I'll probably die faster if I let him continue to piss me off during the trip, by taking lousy pictures.

So I try to minimize the number of times.

I feel like crying sometimes. =(

I dont even DREAM that he can take pictures of me in nice angles where I can look prettier or slimmer.

Just a simple, nice and PROPER picture,

1) which dont have my body parts or architecture parts being cut off,

2) which is aesthetically, REASONABLY proportional(in regards to surroundings)

3) which has no weird obstacles/blockage(when possible),

4) which is not tilted crazily and lastly and most importantly,

5) which is NOT BLUR

is very 难得 already............. =~(

I still can remember how he cut off my neck-and-below, leaving only my BIG HEAD in a picture which I asked him to take for me in Europe.....I simply wanted a picture with the mandarin ducks which were near the edge of a lake where I'm at. (=.=)'''''''''''''''' And all my Eiffel Tower pictures were all tilted to 1 side, making it seems that the tower is tilted. Duhz..........I can "tilt" it back with windows editor but it'll get blur. It's not that I complain that the angle he took of me is not ideal, I just blame myself for not being photogenic. All I want is........a proper photo to capture the nice scenery, to capture that moment, without it being blur almost all the time. I really dont think I ask alot from him.

Sigh........Hey it gets pretty irritating after continuous F-ups okie......especially when time is so pressed at places with gorgeous scenery during tours. Most of the times, you have no time for a 2nd take. Sometimes I cant help but KP him. I know I cant blame him because he didnt wish for it, BUT he also cant blame me because he's quite the worst photographer I've ever seen! I'm not that pro enough to always advise him because I cant estimate the angle he's taking pictures from either. And It's not as if I can easily go back to Europe or U.S readily, you know~ Actually I dont believe one can really be thattttttt bad in taking pictures. He's just too sloppy, chin chai and bo chup in things which he dont really care; photography. And it makes me sad......well....which girl dont wish to look their best in pictures, especially with their loved ones during overseas? Once the moments are gone, they are gone.

He hates taking pictures too......so actually most of the time I simply force him to take, especially when we're overseas. Most pictures have forced smiles, if you see closely. Most of the time, he dont have the enthusiasm to take pictures of himself, even less so for me. Other than overseas, unless I request, he seldom take pictures for me. That's why, pictures which he took of me have very uneasy smiles too because I felt paiseh and embarrassed when he obliged to snap me, but not of his own accord. Pictures which my friends took for me are usually better. I'm not one who loves to take pictures, unless for an event like someone's birthday or unless I have the mood that day. But sometimes, I just wish to have some nice pictures with the person I love. And it's sad that I'm always doing 独角戏。

Actually I also dont like take pictures so when he also dont like, it doesnt really bother me.....previously. But lately dont know why, suddenly I feel like....it does bother me. Because I realized we have very few pictures together. All our pictures were alone. Either I asked him to take for me(veryyyyyy seldom), or I take for him. But he seldom initiated to take pictures of US. Everytime I said let's take pictures together, he will say he dont want but he will take for me instead. Even if we did take pictures together, he just look sian sian. Sad............... Maybe because turning 30 this year is giving me the creeps that I'm no longer young and I wish to take more pictures to make up for lost time. Haha. Because I have veryyyyyy few pictures, as compared to all my female girlfriends. But well..........I guess I cant force him to get enthu with things he dont like. It's also not my style to.......haiz............pride...pride....

Sometimes cant help feeling "Arggghhhh!" when my guy friends request for my pictures to put in their contacts(I didnt give anyway) while my own hubby not enthu to take my pictures or take pictures with me.

=( It's not as if I think I'm pretty and he has to love snapping me all the time lah...but it's like....we're a couple mah. Sometimes when I take pictures of him, naturally one will take turn to snap the other party isnt it? But not the case with him. He will just let me snap, then go back to eat his food, without initiating to snap for me too.

I wonder is my PMS coming because I'm suddenly feeling so emo. Haiz........
